Our union has taken concrete steps to advance First Nations rights and reconciliation through our work, from launching our own Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to creating specific First Nations clauses for enterprise agreements. Our National Member Convention endorsed the Uluru Statement From the Heart and support for the ‘Yes’ campaign and our union remains dedicated to First Nations self-determination beyond the workplace.
This commitment includes procurement policies prioritising First Nations businesses and supporting broader campaigns for First Nations justice, backed by dedicated resources and clear accountability measures.
